Choir of One

Choir of One was founded by S.R. Heinitz circa 1998 in East Lansing, MI.  After having spent the preceding few years hanging out in a myriad of garage and bedroom studios maintained by friends, learning the basics of electronic music production and sequencing while occassionally guesting on friends projects, Heinitz began his own project with the initial assistance of fellow musician and college friend Herb Gaylord.  Choir of One's "Painting Thought with Sound" was self released on Gawdy Squirrel Records in 2001 and was followed by a double disc in 2002 entitled "Enjoy the Aftertaste/Tone Deaf Soup".  Heinitz dropped from the music scene shortly after this but did not stop producing and recording new tracks over the ensuing years and has now returned in full force with a catalog detailing the emotional roller coaster of the time away.
